Myrtle Beach

Its my favorite place to go. you have to make the trip to check it out. The worst part is spending an entire day driving to get there. One of the good things to help forget about the horrible and boring drive is the MUST STOP "South of the Border". Once your down in Myrtle Beach you cant help but stop at one of the many Eagles or Pacific stores, where i bought my awsome baby turtle for 20 bucks. Broadway on the beach is a giant maze of shops and food that seem to change every year we go. My favorite is the Alligator farm on highway 17. Kind of expensive, but in my opinion is well worth the money. Dixie Stampede was something that i was taken to against my will but once i was there i found out that it wasnt so bad. If you like to mini-golf then this is the spot for you, with over 20 different ones to choose from you wont get bored. Outlet shopping must be huge down there because everywhere you turn there is another outlet. i do love me some Myrtle Beach lol

Annapolis

O'Brien's oyster bar and grille was where i ended up eating lunch today with my girlfriend. From the outside you would most likely pass it by since there are no flashy lights or huge names in front. We decided to go in and check it out since it was lunch time and every other place was packed!. So we went in and to our surprise there was no wait at all. The service was quick and great, the atmosphere was more of a new york restaraunt then a irish pub but aside from that it was amazing. When the food came we had ordered the O' Brien's sliders with curley fries and also corned beef sandwich. Best bar food ive had in a good while. When it was time to leave i said oh no i hope its not too expensive and luckily it turned out to only be 25 dollars. So for the good drinks GREAT food and good atmosphere it cost less then if we would have gone to TGI Fridays. If you ever go to Annapolis make sure to skip all the other flashy places and head straight to O' Briens.

maryland senator a total joke

So i just got done reading something that not only made me angry and scared, but did not surprise me at all. Baltimore state senator Lisa Gladden was recorded by a fox 45 news camera that, and i quote, “It doesn’t matter if the state of Maryland is broke as long as Barack Obama is going to be President of the United States – this is great!”. hmm. WOW!. so this is our voice?! now thats pretty scary to think that one of the people in charge of this city and state could care less about the fact that our mayor has been indicted on theft and perjury charges, or the fact that we are in a 1 million plus dollar deficit, OR that we have one of the worst crime records in the COUNTRY. But the good news is that Obama will save us all. how great!. So there you go just wanted to talk about that for a minute. So next time you vote somone in, make sure they have the slightest care of what they are doing other then republican or democrat. picture courtesy of google.

random!

how is it that monday we get 6 inches of snow and it's 13 degrees with 40 mile per hour winds, and then on Saturday we are supposed to be up in the low 70s. not that i mind warm or cold weather, BUT i dont want both within the same week. not only is it making me not be able to work but i have been sick for about a month now.

weird things to do in baltimore

so today is a strange thing that i myself would never do in the heart of baltimore's inner harbor, but for the outrageous price of 80 dollars you can take your gf or bf out on a 50 minute tour of the harbor in a Venetian gondola. the perk is that its bring your own wine, and who wouldnt want to sip wine while looking at hooters and every now and again bumping into a floating corpse??sounds like a blast to me!. if you do decide to go the gondola is actualy a 32 foot electric powered BOAT that includes lap blankets, pillows, wine glasses, romantic music, and last but not least a complimentary photo for you to always remember the experience.
